Elizabeth Geary The last "best" day with our sister May 13, 2013
Dear Family and Friends:

Here is the last picture of the Five Crawford girls together. Connie had not opened her eyes all day and when an aide came in to adjust her pillows, Julianne said "Oh we should have her take a picture of us together." We all got close to Connie and said "Connie can you say cheese?" To our surprise, she opened her eyes and said "CHEESEEEEE" as loud as she could!

To my big sister, these heartfelt words are for you, from all of us who care with all our love. I want you to know how much you mean to me, how much I admire your strength and courage and how you handle life's blows with dignity. You took your diagnosis in stride and said, "I've had a great life and that's how it goes." You hardly complained through all your pain, and continued to always think of others first. You kept that wonderful humor and gave us laughter with your wit, if this wasn't so sad I'd post those videos we made in the room on You-Tube for I'd for sure become rich! I admired your dignity, warmth, and inner beauty that can't be explained. You always took time to give of yourself to friends, sisters and brothers. You were always there with your kind thoughts, deeds, and caring to others.

Sister dear, I already miss you so very much. But I realized that you are now in peace, and not suffering anymore. You are beginning the life of an Angel, and your body will no longer be sore. Until we meet again. You will always be in my heart and thoughts and my prayers.

Dear sister you will always be an angle watching over me.

(please listen to this song of my sister Connie)
